Liverpool is a city located in the North West of England, situated on the estuary of the River Mersey that opens out into the Irish Sea. Liverpool became a borough in1207, founded by King John, and a city in 1880.  Liverpool is packed with culture. It has more museums and art galleries than any other UK city outside of London, such as the Tate Liverpool and its world-famous collection of modern art. Liverpool's 6 theatres host fantastic performances throughout the year, continuing the city's long history of performing arts.

10 minutes from the city centre with major bus routes and train stations, this area has very good transport connections, great for those who travel home often.

Sefton

One of the most beautiful spots in Liverpool, just a few minutes from the city centre but home to Liverpool’s biggest park. This area would be perfect for those who want the action of the city centre with the refuge of a big green space close by.

Kensington is a popular student location due to its low rental prices. It’s close to LJMU and University of Liverpool and isn’t far from the city centre.

Wavertree

The University of Liverpool’s Halls of Residence is close to Wavertree so lots of students opt for staying in this area, close to a big green space and the Botanic Gardens.
